FROZEN EMBRYO TRANSFER SUCCESSFUL, Pregnancy achieved through IVF/ICSI

Another milestone achieved by team 9B ( SRGHC).As per vision of MOH Dr Azra Fazal Pechuhu. Our Sindh Reproductive Genetic Center 9B serves poor couples with infertility, acheived yet another good news.
Under the guidance of Prof.Nighat Ali Shah this 28 yr old patient was treated at SRGHC JPMC ward 9b.She had been suffering from Infertility since 10 yrs yrs,h/o pelvic tuberculosis , both tubes were blocked, PCOS,husband had Asthenoteratozoospermia.

This underprivileged couple could not afford expensive IVF ICSI ranges 10-18 lacs in pvt.

Kudos to team SRGHC Dr Nida, Dr Kanwal, Dr Bakhtawer, Dr Takkassur. This patient was stimulated in JPMC Ward 9b in April ova pick up was done on 16th April 26, 12 oocytes were retrieved and 5 embryos were formed. FET was done on 6th Aug 26 and Alhamdullilah got successful!

SRGHC is the only public sector high tech IVF ICSI center in Pakistan.It was started before 9B in 2019, but now its an integral part and pillar of 9B, obgyn

Breast feeding workshop at SICHN head office for nurses abd midwives from interior sindh tertiary care hospitals

It was stressed for initial starting of breast feeding in normal and as well as caesarian delivery as initial milk is high in nutrition value and has immunoglobulins for protection

This is the best start for baby

Dr Azra Fazal pechuhu attended closing ceremony and gave certificates to participants

PPA head Dr Khalid, Dr Jamal Reza, and Dr Nighat Shah attended

The midwives and nurses gave very positive feedback and said all junk like khewa, ghuti and shahd should be discouraged and babies should be initiated on breast feed within few mins of delivery
