Ośrodek prowadzi działalność mającą na celu studiowanie i propagowanie nauk buddyzmu tybetańskiego linii Drikung Kagyu, a w szczególności nauk Garchena Rinpocze. Wspólne praktyki: czwartki o godz.19.00 kontakt [email protected] Zapraszamy!

Understanding Karma

🙏

Understanding karma, I was not overwhelmed by suffering in the war. I was able to tolerate and create happiness for the future. Through understanding karma, I have attained independence and am now happy at all times. It is most important to understand that karma is within the mind. The Buddha said, ‘Perfectly tame your own mind. This is the Buddha’s teachings.’ The Buddha did not say, ‘Perfectly tame others' minds.’ We must purify our own mind. When you purify your mind, you must begin with those who surround your every day, your family, friends, etc.

I have great hopes that all of you will take this to heart and give rise to kindness and compassion for each other. Give rise to love for your parents, your teachers, and your country, and then expand this love for all sentient beings. In the future, when we die, even if we have accumulated millions of dollars, it will be useless. At that point, only a mind of love will be important. This mind will stay with us throughout all lifetimes. Therefore, it is my great hope that you hold on to this mind of love.

Although I cannot be with you today physically, my mind is with you. I pray that all of you will give rise to love and a kind heart. We are engaging in a Nyungne retreat here in Arizona for the sake of the peace and happiness of this world, so that beings may live in harmony free of warfare, and so that all beings will give rise to a mind of love and compassion and thus be free of all suffering.

HE Garchen Rinpoche

Mantra kommt vom Sanskrit-Wort mantram.

OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SVAHA, GATE GATE PARAGATE PARASAMGATE BODHI SVAHA

Chanting mantras is a spiritual practice common in many traditions.
Mantra comes from the Sanskrit word mantram. It combines the two roots manas (spirit) and tram (protection), so that it is literally translated as “protection of the spirit”.

Buddhist mantras are more than just combinations of words and syllables. They protect the mind from disturbing emotions and thoughts and are used in meditation to achieve deep concentration. By repeating these special words, you can center yourself, find inner peace, and connect with certain qualities. To achieve deeper connection and resonance, it is helpful to know the meaning of the mantras. Mantras sung with music in particular have an energetic and healing effect on the body, speech and mind.

The well-known Buddhist mantras are, for example: OM MANI PADME HUM,
OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SVAHA, TOR TOR PARAGATE PARASAMGATE BODHI SVAHA
Let's sing together and meditate on the meaning!

Ani Zofia is a Buddhist nun in the Drikung Kagyu and yoga teacher in the Shivananda tradition. She loves to unite body, speech and mind through mantra singing with harmonium and various types of meditation.
