🥛 Milk & Ayurvedic herbs 🌿

Most Ayurvedic herbs are fat soluble. Which means that they are more effective and able to go deeper into the tissues and cells when taken with a healthy fat such as milk or ghee (clarified butter).

Anupama (vehicle) is the way medicine is administered in Ayurveda. The herb becomes more effective when given with a suitable vehicle.

Ayurveda considers milk to be the best one for the body’s seven tissue system.

Gentle reminder 💦

Ayurveda has recommendations regarding water intake.

It is always recommended to drink water at room temperature, warm or hot.

But why?

In Ayurveda, one of the most important concept is agni (your digestive fire).

Ice-cold water will put out the digestive fire and cause disturbances in the digestion process itself.

In other words, it can be bad for your gut as your body has to work harder to increase the temperature of the water.

How do you drink your water? 🧊or🔥 ?

🌿 We chose to select raw and organic products to get the best of their benefits while being kind to the environment.
