Nobody asks about ventilation before they buy a chamber. They ask about pressure, about the window, about how many people fit inside.
The question comes later, usually during the first long session.
Here’s the part that’s easy to miss. The harder you work inside a chamber, the more CO₂ you breathe out, and all of it stays in there with you until something removes it. Double the pressure and the same percentage of CO₂ presses twice as hard.
That’s a problem of air, not of pressure. It’s also why most
chambers are built around sitting still.
Ours moves 280 litres of fresh air every minute, for every person inside, continuously. Measured at the chamber inlet when it’s installed, and again at each service.
Before you compare chambers, ask one question: how much continuous fresh air does each person inside get?
