🤣🤣🤣🤣, underwater road
FARM-TO-SUBMARINE Roads💡: Several farm-to-market road (FMR) projects submitted by the House of Representatives under the proposed ₱7.2-trillion 2027 national budget were flagged because their listed geographic coordinates mistakenly map directly into the middle of the sea.
It was revealed that thousands of infrastructure project insertions worth approximately ₱190 billion lacked adequate documentation and contained alarming location errors.
Here are three specific offshore farm-to-market road projects:
1. Nueva Ecija FMR (₱23 Million): A road project designated for the landlocked province of Nueva Ecija, but its official coordinates plotted out near the Philippine Rise (formerly Benham Rise) in the Pacific Ocean.
2. Cebu FMR (₱30 Million): A project intended for Cebu whose listed coordinates mapped far south into the Celebes Sea near Indonesia.
3. Quezon Province FMR (₱55 Million): A proposed road for Quezon with coordinates placing it in the ocean near Brunei.
