Så här i Höstdagjämnings tider....
Ett brev från Tej:
Our Autumn Equinox has arrived and a new season is here.
The word equinox means “equal night,” marking the time of year when daylight and darkness are nearly equal. This balance gives us a greater understanding of the polarity between the light and the dark.
In the northern hemisphere, this is considered the season of harvest. The crops come in, and we store what’s needed for the upcoming months that lead us to the Winter Solstice in December.
I’m always reminded of the beautiful cycle of the trees this time of year. The leaves start to change color and eventually fall away.
The trees are receiving the harvest of the year. They pull nutrients from their leaves, which contributes to the color change, and bring that energy down into their roots to prepare for the harsher winter months. Then, the leaves eventually fall to the earth and offer ground cover for the life below.
And that’s a beautiful symbol of how we too can receive the harvest of the year, while allowing what no longer serves us to fall away.
Remember that polarities are all around us and receiving often implies releasing.
May you receive your harvest and release the rest.
With love and appreciation,
Tej ✨
