We were thrilled to host students from the NUS Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) programme, in partnership with NUS Business Analytics Centre, at Synapxe for a morning of sharing and learning! ✨

Kicking things off for us was Professor James Pang, Co-Director, NUS Business Analytics Centre, and our Director for Data, AI & Innovation (DNAi) and Chief Data Officer, Andy Ta, with their welcome addresses. They reflected on the close partnership between Synapxe and NUS BAC over the years, talked about how data and AI are tackling real-world healthcare challenges, and left us with a great reminder about the three “C”s — curiosity, courage, and care — that sit at the heart of meaningful innovation.

Then, our very own Alvin, Benjamin, Beverly, and Millie from DNAi took the students through some of our HealthTech initiatives, which span areas such as preventive health, agentic AI, and even TCM.

And if that wasn't enough, our Human Capital Management team also gave students a snippet of what it's like to work at Synapxe and the opportunities that await those looking to kickstart their HealthTech career.

Beyond the presentations, conversations with our Human Capital Management team and staff ambassadors gave students a peek into Synapxe’s work culture too! 🔥

TOGETHER, WE help turn lessons from trauma cases into better care for the future.

By harnessing data, the Integrated Trauma System (ITS) supports treatment, prevention, and planning for trauma care across Singapore. 📊

Co-developed with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and National Trauma Unit (NTU), ITS identifies and analyses trends in injury causes. These insights help inform targeted prevention programmes and better allocation of healthcare resources.

Behind it is a team using technology and data to turn information into meaningful insights for trauma care.

Excited to be at the Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress (SHBC) 2026! 🎉

We got to feature 💻Synapxe AgentSea🤖 and 📱Health Plan AI beta🏃 at our booth, and were thrilled to hear what people thought about these recent Public Healthcare AI solutions!

This year's theme really resonated with us: shifting the focus from lifespan to healthspan, because living longer should mean ageing well too. The conference was graced by Guest of Honour Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Health, Singapore, and we were encouraged to hear his thoughts on building the community around the individual and moving healthcare upstream, where the priority lies in detecting health risks earlier, improving research on longevity, and using technology to help us act earlier and coordinate better.

With so many passionate healthcare professionals and partners from across the sector in the room, there was no shortage of exciting ideas on how we can all age well. ✨

Big thank you to NHG Health for having us. We're walking away inspired and ready to keep pushing the boundaries of HealthTech, together! 💪

[Services Restored] Update on Connectivity Issues Affecting Public Healthcare Services

Services affected by the earlier connectivity issues across the public healthcare clusters have been progressively restored from approximately 3pm. All affected services were restored by 4.37pm on 13 October 2026.

At approximately 7.10am on 13 October 2026, a technical issue affecting network connectivity resulted in disruptions to some services across the public healthcare clusters, including patient-facing services such as appointment booking through call centres, visitor registration and billing enquiries.

During the disruption, patients and visitors at some public healthcare institutions experienced longer waiting times for certain services. Our teams worked closely with the public healthcare clusters to restore affected services as quickly as possible.

There is currently no indication that this was a cyber incident. Investigations into the technical issue are ongoing.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank patients, visitors and healthcare staff for their patience and understanding.

The public healthcare clusters are currently experiencing connectivity issues affecting some services, including patient-facing systems like appointment booking through call centres, visitor registration and billing enquiries.

Patients and visitors may experience longer waiting times for some services as a result.

This has caused inconvenience, especially for patients and visitors who are at our healthcare institutions.

Our technical teams are working urgently to resolve the issue and restore services as soon as possible. There is also no indication that this is a cyber incident.

We sincerely apologise for the disruption and thank you for your patience and understanding.

We will continue to keep you updated as services are progressively restored.
