LifeBlood was pleased to participate in the two-day Startup Ecosystem Policy Validation and ESO Formalisation held at Mamba Point, Lagoonda, Freetown.
The event brought together key stakeholders across Sierra Leone’s startup ecosystem, including existing ESOs, innovation hubs, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem partners, to validate the startup ecosystem policy and advance the formalisation of a national ESO.
Organised by the Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation, International Trade Centre, Felei TechCity, and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the engagement provided an important platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strengthening the structures supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in Sierra Leone.
A significant milestone from the engagement was the formation of a national body of Entrepreneurship Support Organisations for the first time, complementing the Start-up Act and creating a stronger foundation for coordination and collaboration within the ecosystem.
As an innovation-driven digital health solution, LifeBlood remains committed to contributing to Sierra Leone’s growing technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem while advancing innovative solutions to critical healthcare challenges.
