สัมผัสวัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่นที่ “เทศกาลโอสึ” — มรดกวัฒนธรรมที่จับต้องไม่ได้ของยูเนสโก

สวัสดีครับ ผม YoShi จาก ARKRAY Thailand วันนี้ผมอยากแนะนำ “เทศกาลโอสึ” เทศกาลท้องถิ่นที่มีความพิเศษสำหรับผม ซึ่งจัดขึ้นทุกฤดูใบไม้ร่วงที่เมืองโอสึ จังหวัดชิงะ
เมืองโอสึคือบ้านของผมในญี่ปุ่น และเทศกาลโอสึก็คือเทศกาลประจำท้องถิ่นของผมอย่างแท้จริง ในทุกปี ก่อนเริ่มงานผมจะไปชมการประกอบรถแห่ฮิคิยามะ ในคืนโยอิมิยะผมจะเดินเล่นกับเพื่อน ๆ พร้อมฟังดนตรีที่บรรเลงจากรถแห่ และในวันงานใหญ่ผมจะเข้าร่วมในฐานะอาสาสมัครฝ่ายจัดงาน ผมจึงอยากเชิญชวนชาวไทยทุกท่านมาสัมผัสเสน่ห์ของวัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่นด้วยตนเองครับ
ทำไมญี่ปุ่นจึงมีเทศกาลมากมายในฤดูใบไม้ร่วง?
ตั้งแต่อดีต ฤดูใบไม้ร่วงเป็นช่วงเวลาสำคัญของการเก็บเกี่ยวข้าวและพืชผลในญี่ปุ่น ผู้คนจึงจัดเทศกาลเพื่อขอบคุณเทพเจ้าที่ประทานผลผลิต แบ่งปันความยินดีร่วมกันในชุมชน รวมทั้งอธิษฐานขอให้ปีถัดไปมีผลผลิตอุดมสมบูรณ์และชุมชนปลอดภัย เทศกาลฤดูใบไม้ร่วงจึงสะท้อนทั้งความขอบคุณต่อธรรมชาติและความผูกพันของผู้คนในท้องถิ่น
เทศกาลโอสึคืออะไร?
เทศกาลโอสึเป็นงานประจำปีของศาลเจ้าเท็นซง และสืบทอดมายาวนานกว่า 400 ปีตั้งแต่ต้นสมัยเอโดะ ตามตำนาน จุดเริ่มต้นเกิดจากชายชื่อจิเฮ ชิโอยะ ซึ่งสวมหน้ากากทานูกิออกมาเต้นรำในวันเทศกาล ต่อมาจึงมีการสร้างรถที่บรรทุกหุ่นกลทานูกิ และพัฒนามาเป็นขบวนรถแห่ฮิคิยามะอันงดงามในปัจจุบัน
“พิธีแห่รถฮิคิยามะแห่งเทศกาลโอสึ” ได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเพิ่มเติมเมื่อวันที่ 11 ธันวาคม 2025 ในฐานะส่วนหนึ่งของมรดกวัฒนธรรมที่จับต้องไม่ได้ของยูเนสโก “เทศกาลยามะ โฮโกะ และยาไต” รถแห่ฮิคิยามะทั้ง 13 คัน ซึ่งสร้างขึ้นในสมัยเอโดะ ได้รับการตกแต่งอย่างวิจิตร และแต่ละคันมีหุ่นกลคาราคุริที่ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวแตกต่างกัน
คืนก่อนวันงานใหญ่ “โยอิมิยะ”
รถแห่ฮิคิยามะและทิวทัศน์ของเมืองที่ส่องสว่างด้วยโคมไฟให้บรรยากาศสงบ งดงาม และเป็นเอกลักษณ์แบบญี่ปุ่น เสียงดนตรีโอฮายาชิที่ก้องไปตามถนนก็เป็นเสน่ห์พิเศษของค่ำคืนโยอิมิยะ
วันงานใหญ่ “ฮงมัตสึริ” อันตระการตา
รถแห่ฮิคิยามะที่ประดับอย่างงดงามจะเคลื่อนขบวนผ่านใจกลางเมืองพร้อมเสียงดนตรีโอฮายาชิ และมีการแสดงหุ่นกลคาราคุริ เป็นภาพที่มีสีสัน มีชีวิตชีวา และน่าชมอย่างยิ่ง

・วันเสาร์ที่ 10 ตุลาคม: โยอิมิยะ (ช่วงเย็นถึงกลางคืน)
・วันอาทิตย์ที่ 11 ตุลาคม: ฮงมัตสึริและขบวนแห่รถฮิคิยามะ
เดินทางจากเกียวโตได้สะดวก
ขึ้นรถไฟ JR จากสถานี Kyoto ผ่านสถานี Yamashina แล้วลงที่สถานี Otsu ซึ่งเป็นสถานีที่ 2 จาก Kyoto พื้นที่จัดงานอยู่ใกล้สถานี Otsu และเดินถึงได้ในเวลาไม่นาน

Experience Japanese Culture at the Otsu Festival — UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage
Hello, I’m YoShi from ARKRAY Thailand. Today, I would like to introduce the Otsu Festival, a very special local festival for me. It is held every autumn in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture.
Otsu is my home in Japan, and the Otsu Festival is truly my local festival. Every year before the festival, I go to watch the hikiyama floats being assembled. On the Yoimiya evening, I enjoy walking with friends while listening to music played from the floats, and during the main festival I take part as an event volunteer. I hope people from Thailand will also have the opportunity to experience the wonderful appeal of Japanese culture firsthand.
Why are there so many festivals in Japan during autumn?
Since ancient times, autumn has been an important season in Japan for harvesting rice and other crops. People held festivals to thank the gods for a successful harvest and to share their joy with the local community. These celebrations also express wishes for another abundant harvest and for the safety of the community in the coming year. Japanese autumn festivals reflect both gratitude toward nature and the close bonds among local people.
What is the Otsu Festival?
The Otsu Festival is the annual festival of Tenson Shrine and has been passed down for more than 400 years since the early Edo period. According to tradition, it began when a man named Jihei Shioya danced during the festival wearing a tanuki mask. Later, a float carrying a mechanical tanuki puppet was created, and the tradition developed into today’s magnificent procession of hikiyama floats.
The “Hikiyama Float Event of the Otsu Festival” was added on December 11, 2025, as part of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage element “Yama, Hoko, Yatai, float festivals in Japan.” The 13 splendidly decorated hikiyama floats were built during the Edo period, and each features mechanical karakuri puppets that present a different story.
“Yoimiya” — the Evening Before the Main Festival
The hikiyama floats and old town streets illuminated by lanterns create a quiet, beautiful, and distinctly Japanese scene. The sound of traditional ohayashi festival music echoing through the streets is another special charm of Yoimiya.
The Spectacular “Hon-matsuri” Main Festival
Beautifully decorated hikiyama floats parade through the city center to the sound of ohayashi music, with performances by mechanical karakuri puppets along the way. It is a colorful, lively, and truly impressive sight.
2026 Festival Schedule
・Saturday, October 10: Yoimiya (evening to night)
・Sunday, October 11: Hon-matsuri and the hikiyama float procession
Easy Access from Kyoto
Take a JR train from Kyoto Station, pass Yamashina Station, and get off at Otsu Station, the second stop from Kyoto. The festival area is very close to Otsu Station and only a short walk away.

こんにちは、ARKRAY ThailandのYoShiです。今日は、私にとって特別な地元のお祭り、滋賀県大津市で毎年秋に開催される「大津祭」をご紹介します。
大津市は私の日本での住まいであり、大津祭はまさに私の地元のお祭りです。私はこれまで毎年、開催前には曳山の組み立て作業を見に行き、宵宮では友人たちと曳山で奏でる音楽を聴きながらの散歩、そして本祭では開催側ボランティアとしてこのお祭りに参加してきました。ぜひタイの皆さんにも、日本文化の魅力を実際に感じていただきたいと思います。
なぜ日本では秋にお祭りが多いのでしょうか。
日本では昔から、秋は稲や農作物の収穫を迎える大切な季節でした。人々は無事に実ったことを神様に感謝し、地域のみんなで喜びを分かち合うためにお祭りを行ってきました。同時に、翌年の豊作や地域の安全を願う意味もあります。秋祭りには、日本人の自然への感謝と地域のつながりが込められています。
大津祭とは？
大津祭は天孫神社の例祭で、江戸時代初期から400年以上にわたり受け継がれています。その始まりは、塩売治兵衛という人物が祭礼の日に狸の面を着けて踊ったことだと伝えられています。その後、狸のからくり人形を載せた屋台が作られ、現在の華麗な曳山巡行へと発展しました。
「大津祭の曳山行事」は、2025年12月11日に、ユネスコ無形文化遺産「山・鉾・屋台行事」の一つとして追加登録されました。江戸時代に造られた13基の曳山は豪華に装飾され、それぞれ異なる物語を表現するからくり人形が設けられています。
本祭前夜の「宵宮」
提灯の明かりに照らされた曳山と町並みは、静かで美しく、日本らしい情景を楽しめます。町に響くお囃子の音色も、宵宮ならではの特別な魅力です。
華やかな「本祭」
美しく飾られた曳山が、お囃子の音とともに市内中心部を巡行し、からくり人形の演技も披露されます。華やかで活気にあふれた、見応えのある光景です。

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Manage company expenses and accounting, process payments, issue receipts and invoices, coordinate with external accounting firms, handle insurance-related matters, and manage related purchase orders.
𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 & 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Provide general secretarial support to the General Manager, handle phone calls and emails, and coordinate with distributors and business partners in Thailand and overseas.
𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: Handle general administrative tasks and office supplies, manage expenses and inventory of shared supplies, and review purchasing and tender-related documents.
𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 & 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: Support domestic and international logistics, coordinate shipments with relevant companies, manage purchase orders, coordinate import activities, prepare related documents, and manage inventory.
𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, including attendance, leave and absence records, social security, employee benefits, work permits, and coordination of employee onboarding and offboarding.

The scope of work for these two positions may vary depending on the position, candidate’s experience, and organizational needs.

Language: Good communication skills in Thai and English. Japanese language skills or experience working with a Japanese company is a plus.

Job Summary

คุณเคยรู้ไหมว่า…
ที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น มีพิธีโบราณที่นักธนูจะยิงธนู ขณะขี่ม้าที่กำลังวิ่งด้วยความเร็ว ?
พิธีนี้เรียกว่า “ยาบุซาเมะ” (流鏑馬)
เป็นพิธีที่งดงามและน่าประทับใจ ที่รวมทั้งความเร็ว ทักษะ และจิตวิญญาณเข้าไว้ด้วยกัน
ทุกปีในช่วงต้นเดือนมิถุนายน
ที่ ศาลเจ้าโอมิ (Omi Shrine เมืองโอสึ ใกล้เมืองเกียวโต)
จะมีการจัดพิธีศักดิ์สิทธิ์นี้ขึ้น
ในปี 2026 ได้จัดขึ้นในวันที่ 7 มิถุนายน
เริ่มพิธีทางศาสนาเวลา 12:30 น. และตามด้วยการแสดงยิงธนูบนหลังม้าเวลา 13:00 น.
พิธีนี้มีประวัติยาวนานกว่า 1,300 ปี
จัดขึ้นเพื่ออธิษฐานขอความสงบสุข และความอุดมสมบูรณ์
นักธนูในชุดซามูไรโบราณจะขี่ม้าที่วิ่งอย่างรวดเร็ว

Did you know that in Japan, there is a traditional ceremony where archers shoot arrows while riding on a galloping horse?
This is called “YaBuSaMe” (流鏑馬) — a breathtaking ritual where speed, skill, and spirituality come together.
Every year in early June, at Omi Shrine (Otsu city, close to Kyoto city), this sacred event is performed.
In 2026, it was held on June 7th, beginning with a ceremonial ritual at 12:30, followed by horseback archery from 13:00.
The tradition dates back more than 1,300 years and is dedicated to prayers for peace and a good harvest.
As archers dressed in traditional samurai-style attire ride at full speed and shoot arrows at three targets, the scene is both powerful and elegant — something you can truly feel, not just watch.

About Omi Shrine & My Personal Story
Omi Shrine is located in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture — and this city is very special to me, as my home is in Otsu.
While many people know Omi Shrine for Yabusame, it is also famous as the home of Karuta, a traditional Japanese card game. Did you hear “ChiHaYaFuRu” as Japanese movies?
At the same time, it is a peaceful place surrounded by nature and well known as a relaxing walking spot.
I used to visit there often, simply to enjoy a quiet walk, refresh my mind, and spend time in nature.
The calm atmosphere, fresh air, and beautiful greenery make it a place where you can truly slow down and feel the essence of Japan.

Why I Recommend “Otsu city” for Your Japan Trip
Otsu is located very close to Kyoto.
However, compared to Kyoto, it is much less crowded.
If you would like to experience Japan at a more relaxed pace —
enjoying culture, history, and nature without the crowds — Otsu is a hidden gem I highly recommend.
