Everyone visits Angkor Wat. Almost nobody visits these. 🏛️

These four places are within one hour of TUI BLUE Angkor Grace Wellness Resort — and most retreat participants have never heard of any of them.

📍 Beng Mealea — 1 hour
A 12th-century temple that the jungle swallowed and nobody has restored. Roots breaking through stone towers. Corridors disappearing into thick vegetation. The ancient Cambodia that photographs cannot prepare you for.

📍 Banteay Srei — 40 min
The Citadel of Women. A 10th-century temple carved from pink sandstone with such intricate detail that archaeologists once assumed it could not have been made by human hands alone. Dedicated to Shiva. Unlike anything else in the region.

📍 Kbal Spean — 50 min
A 45-minute forest hike leads to a riverbed where hundreds of Hindu lingas and sacred figures have been carved directly into the rock. Sacred water has flowed over them for a thousand years. Almost nobody knows it exists.

📍 Artisans Angkor — 10 min
A social enterprise employing over 1,000 young Cambodians trained in traditional Khmer crafts — silk weaving, stone carving, lacquerware, silverwork. Free workshops and tours. One of the quietest and most remarkable things you can do in Siem Reap.

The Pilgrimage of Sound — the Viniyoga International Conference, takes place in Chiang Mai, Thailand, 18 to 24 January 2027.

Led by Dr. Kausthub Desikachar and Mrs. Menaka Desikachar, carriers of the Viniyoga lineage rooted in the teachings of Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar.

Seven days. Two distinct chapters:

📿 3-Day Advanced Immersion (18–20 January) — Deep practice in Nada Yoga, mantra, and chanting. For yoga teachers and serious students of the tradition who are ready to go further.

🌍 4-Day International Conference (21–24 January) — Teachings from the lineage, open to the global practitioner community. Knowledge, connection, and collective practice.

This is not a sound healing workshop. It is one of the most significant gatherings in the Viniyoga world held biennially, in a city where ancient temples and mountain air create the conditions for exactly this kind of practice.
