There’s something truly special about watching a child achieve something amazing! ❤️🥹

Andrew is now sitting unsupported! Seeing him reach this milestone for the first time at the clinic was an incredible moment filled with joy and hope. 👏🏽

This is why physiotherapy matters. With the right support and a committed parent, real progress happens.

Well done, Andrew! We’re so proud of you. Every milestone matters! ❤️🙌🏽

A New Chapter in Home-Based Physiotherapy! 🚲❤️

This week, our physiotherapy assistant began weekly home visits using our new bike, bringing care and support closer to the children who need it most.

He visited Andrew, Joram, Elijah, Rautha, and several other children. While this is just the beginning, it marks an exciting step toward a brighter future for the children and their families.

For many of these families, this was our first home visit. It was an eye-opening experience that helped us better understand their daily challenges, recognize each child’s unique needs, and identify how we can provide more meaningful support moving forward.

Every visit is an opportunity to learn, connect, and make a difference. We’re excited about what lies ahead and look forward to building on this important beginning, one child and one family at a time. 💛

Yesterday was an incredibly exciting day as we began measuring the children for their specialised mobility equipment! ❤️

Our physiotherapist is now working on their corner seats, special chair walkers, and standing frames, each designed to meet their individual needs.

Measuring the children is just the first step in their journey toward greater independence and mobility. Next, we’ll move into the production phase, bringing this equipment to life before distributing it to the children.

For many of these children, life has been spent lying on mats, confined to their homes with limited opportunities to explore the world around them. This equipment will open up new possibilities, giving them greater freedom to move, participate, and pursue their dreams.

This is more than just equipment. It’s a step toward independence, inclusion, and a brighter future.

Yesterday was only the beginning, but it marks the start of something truly special. Together, we’re helping these children move toward a better tomorrow. 💛

We're excited to announce that next month we'll start home visits! 🎉

Initially, we will conduct home visits two days a week. We planned to begin with more, and we're working to reach even more families.

And here’s some exciting news: a church in Kent has generously gifted us £700 toward purchasing a motorbike for our home visits! 🏍️❤️

Our goal is to raise £1,500, which means we’re already 47% of the way there. We now need to raise the remaining £800 to reach our target.
With a motorbike, we can do so much more.

Our physiotherapy assistant could spend three days a week out of the village doing home visits, while our physiotherapist could devote additional days to overseeing cases, supporting the team, implementing therapy programs, and ensuring more people receive the care they need.

In the short term, we will be hiring a bike to get started, but our dream is to have our own motorbike, allowing us to reach many more people.

Would you stand with us and help us raise the remaining £800?

Every gift, big or small, will help us get closer to owning a bike and reaching more families who need physiotherapy and support at home.

We’re so excited because this is just the beginning—the beginning of something new, something powerful, and something that can make a real difference.

Thank you for standing with us. ❤️

Yesterday’s clinic truly inspired me. I felt a breakthrough, and I'm still filled with excitement! 🌟

For a while, I've wanted to collaborate with Prosy on various activities, and on September 16th, we finally had that opportunity. We played animal bingo, and she grasped how to engage in the game. Despite her challenges with communication due to delayed learning and physical disabilities, she participated actively in animal bingo. 🐾 She understood the game and thrived in the activity.

Next, we tackled some jigsaw puzzles. 🧩 She needed a bit of guidance, but it was as if something clicked within her. Those moments are nothing short of magical. ✨

In October, we’ll be increasing our home visits, and I’m genuinely looking forward to that one-on-one time, knowing that Prosy will achieve remarkable things. 🙌

We'll focus on writing, helping her learn, understand, and comprehend. ✍️ She has immense potential, and yesterday's experience reminded me of how much is possible.

Sometimes, the smallest experiences reveal the greatest breakthroughs. A game of animal bingo. A few puzzles. A moment when a child shows you something they've never shown before. 🌈

Those are the precious moments that make this work deeply rewarding. ❤️

Prosy had that moment yesterday. We shared a moment where I thought, Yes, there's so much more this child can accomplish.

That fills me with excitement! I can’t wait to see what we will achieve together. 🎉

Oh, woman. So strong, yet so vulnerable, and so powerful.

Yesterday, on the 5th of March, we received several new children, with about three different cases arriving in a short time. It felt like moving from one family to another, and then another. With each mother, we sat down, listened, and tried to understand their situations. We counseled them about malnutrition, discussed how to feed their children, assessed their needs, and aimed to grasp the full context of their lives.

The best counselor for a woman is often another woman who has already experienced similar struggles. So, we brought many of the mothers together. We provided a space for them to sit, talk, and encourage one another. They shared their stories and revealed what was truly happening in their homes and hearts.

One child broke my heart. Sometimes, I am still shocked by what I see—the pain and the challenges. There was a one-year-old child crying like a newborn. When you work with children, you learn that a one-year-old’s cry is different, yet this child was the size of a newborn.

Mama Jackie and Mama Chosen welcomed each of these women with love. Every mother who came needed support, encouraging words, and someone to reassure her that she was not alone—that her situation was not unique—and that her child still had the potential to improve.

I remember the smile of one mother as we talked. I believe she understood the message I was trying to convey: There is a plan, there is purpose, and there is a future.

Her child’s sister had died during childbirth, and for the past year, she had been raising this child while carrying that grief. Yet this little one still has potential. This child still has the opportunity to grow and develop if fed properly.

First comes feeding; later comes movement and exercise. However, when a child is so tiny, the immediate goal is simply to nourish their body enough for it to begin growing.

We referred her to the health center, showed her how to feed her child, and provided guidance and encouragement.

But now the question remains: How do we visit this family? How do we walk alongside them beyond this moment?
