It's getting to be that time of year when we want to prepare our immune boosting Fire Cider/Master Tonic!
What's that you say??? An immune boosting tonic I can make myself? Yes! Yes you can!
For many generations, herbal medicinal recipes have been prepared by families as a way to fight the common cold, flu, and other illnesses. This delicious mix of herbs and vegetables is a natural anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic elixir to take through the fall and winter months or whenever you're feeling under the weather. 🤧
It's SO easy to make. 💯
For best results, use organic ingredients from your garden or local Farmer's Market.
This recipe is from Rosemary Gladstar, the QUEEN of herbs! 👑
Ingredients
• 1/2 cup grated horseradish root
• 1/2 cup chopped onions
• 1/2 cup chopped garlic
• 1/2 cup grated ginger
• 1/2 cup jalapeno peppers
• Raw honey to taste
• Unpasteurized apple cider vinegar
• Optional ingredients: turmeric, echinacea, cinnamon, etc.
Directions
1. Place herbs in a half-gallon canning jar and cover with enough raw, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar to cover the herbs by at least three to four inches. Cover tightly with a tight-fitting lid.
2. Place jar in a warm location and let it infuse for three to four weeks. It is best to shake every day.
3. After three to four weeks, strain out the herbs and reserve the liquid. The strained herbs can be used to make chutney if desired.
4. Add honey to the liquid to taste. Your Fire Cider should taste hot, spicy, and sweet. “A little bit of honey helps the medicine go down……”
5. Store in your fridge for up to 3 months (it won't last that long!) 😋
How to Take: A small shot glass daily serves as an excellent preventative. Or take several teaspoons throughout the day if you feel a cold coming on or if you just feel crummy.

Yes, shedding occurs with most vaccines (this info can be found on the vaccine insert). The inserts clearly state that recently vaccinated people should stay away from the very young, the very old, and immunocompromised individuals. (That's ironic since jabs are usually given to the very young, the very old and immunocompromised people, but....I digress) 👶👵🔥
"Shedding" is why we have "seasons" of illness. The first 2 - 3 weeks after school starts typically sees teachers and students with upper respiratory problems. 🤧
Then we move into "flu" season after the flu shots start and high sugar holidays begin. 🤧🤮

Think of it this way....
If you eat something spoiled, within a few hours your body will go into hyper-discharge mode to rid itself of the toxins. Vomiting, diarrhea, fever. 🥴
It's the same with ALL toxins. Your body has amazing mechanisms for ridding itself of them on a continual basis, without much fanfare, as long as the burden doesn't become too great. 🪨🏋️‍♂️
When it does, we experience a great deal of unpleasantness. (vomiting, sweating, body aches, fatigue, fever, chills, rashes, etc.).

I have always corrected one of the brands with a tag line “I can’t believe it’s not butter.” My correction is “I CAN believe it’s not butter….because it’s plastic.” 💥
