We are please to share this research opportunity for Parents of Children with Cleft, ages 3-6: the ICEEFT โ€œCouples with Newborns Navigating the challenges of Cleft (CONNECT)โ€ research project.

This project will adapt and pilot an existing couplesโ€™ therapy intervention to improve relationship satisfaction and psychological health in parents of infants with cleft lip and/or palate.

The project runs from February 2026 to July 2027.

Thereโ€™s still time to get involved!

Do you have a visible facial skin condition (such as acne, psoriasis, ichthyosis, rosacea, eczema or others) which significantly affects your appearance?

Are you interested in improving representation and inclusion in AI?

At FEI, we campaign for ethical, community-led digital inclusion for every face. We are looking for a few people with visible facial skin conditions to take part in our data training project, submitting photos and videos of themselves to train tech to do better by our community.

Participants are paid ยฃ500 in exchange for a collection of photos and videos which meet project criteria. Participants may be accepted from anywhere in the world, this is not a UK-specific project.
