This Tattoo is crooked! On purpose!

Every art form has its unique quirks and traits. Something we have to think of when designing tattoos is that your body is not a flat surface, and is not perfectly symmetrical

So when my perfect straight stencil kept warping because of the muscle definition it was sitting on, it’s time to warp the stencil.

30 minutes of placing the stencil later and we were good to go! Sometimes stencils take a little extra care but it’s worth it for the final result ☺️

What happens when your budget doesn’t align with the tattoo you want?

Or your pain tolerance won’t allow you to sit for the tattoo of your dreams?

I could just tell people to come back when they can handle it, pain is the price of tattoos, you’ve got earn it etc etc 🤮

I’ve got a question on my booking form that’s asks for budget and pain tolerance for this exact reason

You should be able to get started on the tattoo you’ve been dreaming about even if your not fully ready yet

In a lot of cases we can get started a bit at a time, as you’re able to. Line by line.

the tattoo above is a really painful area, and she did a great job handling it, but a full day session just would have been too much!

Now, there are exceptions to everything I had someone ask for a half sleeve for 200$ and unfortunately we wouldn’t have been able to start with less than a half day session.

So it definitely depends on what style you’re going for! Realism does usually require longer sessions
