Here’s the description:
Maybe it sounded good in the movie, “Jerry Maguire” but looking for someone else to complete you is dangerous. It means you are bringing to the table a broken piece you hope they can fix. This is how many codependent relationships form, making the other person “the savior”, the one that needs to heal and fix all your past hurts, pain, and drama. This can also lead to making someone and idol - signs of this are phrases like, “You are my everything” “I could never live without you” “Before you there was no me”. When a person is “God” in your life you can lose your whole identity in someone else, this might sound romantic in movies, but in real life it’s called a toxic relationship. God is the only one who can fix the broken pieces of the heart. He able to heal you so deep, so that, what you bring to the table is already whole.

When two whole/complete people, who know who they are come together, knowing who God is and they don’t try to find that savior in each other … it removes the unfair expectations.

When a man or woman loves God first, it makes all the difference in how well they love you!
