IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Park-It Pantry from the Food Bank is on October 26 @ 10:30am. The previous flyer had the wrong date. Please, spread the word so we get folks here on the right day.

This past Monday was our first, BUT not our last visit from the Park-It Pantry. The FOODBANK of Iowa has scheduled monthly stops in Monroe County at the Public Health office. Each stop will start at 10:30am and will run until the food is distributed or 12:30pm, whichever comes first. We are beyond grateful for this opportunity for our community.

The FOODBANK of Iowa has given out all of the food that they brought down to Monroe County with them today. They were able to help 106 households. We are grateful for the partnership and the much-needed help that they brought down to our county. If they elect us as a site again, we will be sharing that out for you all. Thank you.

REMINDER: Monday we will have the FOODBANK of Iowa's mobile food truck here at the public health office.

There are NO income requirements.
It is easy to access and WILL NOT affect your ability to access local food pantries.
If you or someone you know could use it, please come and access the truck on Monday 10:30am-12:30pm.
