Southwest Endoscopy is conveniently housed under the same roof as our medical offices and is New Mexico’s only freestanding endoscopy center. Endoscopic procedures are performed in a safe, convenient, non-threatening environment, eliminating the need for a hospital stay. Southwest Endoscopy (SWE) is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Inc. and is Medicare Certified. Southwest Endoscopy is owned and operated by Southwest Gastroenterology.

Southwest Gastroenterology and Southwest Endoscopy Center are upgrading to a new electronic health record system, launching on July 28, 2026.

This exciting update will help create a more seamless connection between our clinic and endoscopy center, supporting your care every step of the way. Patients will also enjoy a new patient portal with continued communication with our providers and staff, along with enhanced access to health information and records.

Stay tuned for simple instructions on how to set up your new portal account.

As we transition to our new system, you may experience occasional delays. Please know that your care remains our top priority, and our team is committed to making this change as smooth as possible.

This Memorial Day, Southwest Gastroenterology pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We are deeply grateful for their courage, dedication, and sacrifice.

We would also like to recognize and thank the veterans among our staff, patients, families, and community for their service and commitment.
