Have medications at home that you no longer need? Drug Take Back Day gives you a convenient way to dispose of them safely. Removing unused or expired medications from the home helps prevent accidental poisonings and medication misuse.

Join us at Sandia Pharmacy on Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM to 2 PM.

If we haven’t met yet, we’re Sandia Pharmacy—a newer independent pharmacy serving Albuquerque’s International District and surrounding neighborhoods. We’re here for your prescriptions, medication questions, and vaccinations throughout the year.

We’re coordinating with the Health Equity Council and the New Mexico Department of Health to make this a community health event, too. We expect partners to share information about local health resources, and a Department of Health mobile vaccination clinic is being planned. We’ll share more about participating teams and services as they’re confirmed.
