Did you know the saying "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" began in1866 in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The original was, "Eat an apple on going to bed, and you'll keep the doctor from earning his bread."

A study published by the National Library of Medicine found no direct link between eating daily apples and having fewer doctor appointments, however.

Apples DO contain high amounts of fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants that support heart health and lower the risk of chronic diseases.

SO go to the Apple Orchard and get some apples this Fall!!
