Sports medicine and orthopedic physical therapy are the backbone of Premier's core competencies. Our facility is staffed by licensed physical therapists committed to helping patients reduce pain, restore strength, regain daily activities, and improve function and range of motion while achieving the highest degree of functional independence possible. Premier Physical Therapy is dedicated to diagnosing and providing conservative treatment and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal and neurologic disorders. Our scope of practice is to promote optimal human health and function through the application of physical agents (heat, electric stimulation, ice, ultrasound, laser), manual techniques (massage, myofascial release, joint mobilization), and therapeutic exercise protocols along with patient and family education. Once referred to Premier Physical Therapy, a comprehensive examination will take place by one of our highly trained licensed professionals. A complete rehabilitation protocol will then be tailored and implemented to meet specific needs of the patient. Throughout the rehabilitation process each patient will be regularly re-assessed and the treatment program will be adjusted accordingly. Each patient will learn to focus their thinking on health and wellness as well as injury prevention thus allowing them to resume vocational and daily activities. Our staff utilizes a compassionate and personal approach to treatment achieving better and faster results for our patients. Why it Works Wednesday

Pain and tension can make movement feel overwhelming. Physical therapy may incorporate breathing strategies to promote calm, reduce muscle guarding, and make recovery activities feel more manageable. Breathing supports comfortable movement—it is not a cure for pain.

Foot Pain - What you need to know

Physical therapists treat most orthopedic foot and ankle problems, meaning pain that comes from the muscles, tendons, joints, bones, or nerves. Skin and nail conditions, wounds, and infections should go to a podiatrist or your doctor. For almost everything else, physical therapy is a smart, low-cost place to start.
