The best coverage option isn't always the one organizations use.

In case you missed it, two of our family of companies, LocumTenens.com and Jackson Physician Search, helped lead new research with Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) on rural physician coverage. Locum tenens rated as the strongest short-term option for OB/GYN and general surgery in the survey, yet it's used in only 12% of cases.

Some workforce challenges begin long before a position opens.

New research from Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), Jackson Physician Search and LocumTenens.com found that many rural healthcare organizations already anticipate future physician retirements and reduced clinician availability. At the same time, fewer than half have a formal succession plan in place.

The result is that workforce risks often become urgent staffing challenges instead of planned transitions.

We're excited to announce two well-earned promotions!

Leslie Kurtz now serves as COO, alongside the CFO role she has held since 2018. In these dual positions, she directs financial strategy and stewardship and leads the executive leadership team of the Jackson Healthcare parent company.

Today calls for a moment of silence.

As part of an annual tradition, associates across our enterprise paused for a moment of silence to honor the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001 and to pay tribute to the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in the years that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we are reminded of the strength, resilience and unity that carried our nation forward during one of its most difficult times.
