We are incredibly grateful for Rudy’s continued support of Panhandle Breast Health through its Pink “Cup for a Cause” Campaign! 💗

Congratulations to Christine Garner, Ph.D., assistant vice president for research at , associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Amarillo and researcher at the InfantRisk Center, who was named the first Public Health Champion by the Texas Association of City and County Health Officials - Taccho. 🎉Congratulations to Candice Smith, MSN, RHCNOC, CCRN, RACR, CEO of Deaf Smith County Hospital District, on receiving the Texas Hospital Association's 2026 Pioneer Award.

The statewide award recognizes rural hospital leaders who demonstrate innovation, strong leadership, and a commitment to improving care in their communities. Under Candice's leadership, Deaf Smith County Hospital District has continued expanding local access to specialty care while pursuing new ways to strengthen healthcare for Hereford and the surrounding region.
