Mark your calendars for November 14, when we resume our monthly meetings. The format is somewhat different from our previous ones. From 10am to 10:30am we will arrive, get refreshments, share fellowship, and settle in. At 10:30am we will start the program, and adjourn at 12pm.

There will not be any in-person meetings in September or October. During this time there will be a lot of reflection about topics and activities for the future that will be uplifting and inspiring for you.

For now, enjoy the holiday weekend. Take a moment to reflect on what labors you have accomplished that contribute to humanity. It doesn’t have to be through your job. It might be visiting a sick friend, sending a card to someone grieving, or making someone’s favorite meal. Whatever your labor is, know it is valuable, just like you!

Hello All, please check out the link in this post for an exciting Grace-Filled Living Retreat opportunity. Host is the talented Sue Riley and it is held from 9:30am- 4:30pm at the Red Poppy Retreat Center in Highland Charter Township (about 50 minutes north of Ann Arbor). Fee of $75 includes breakfast, lunch, and full use of the facilities. Registration is required. Please let me know if you are going and would be willing to drive for carpool.

I’m very happy to say that the Hidden Lake Gardens event is a go! We will meet next Saturday, August 8 at 9 am in the Unity of Ann Arbor parking area, 4750 Venture Dr, Suite 350, Ann Arbor 48108.

Due to the number of responses I am asking for one volunteer for carpooling. Please let me know if you are able to help. Also, please reach out if you have any additional questions or need any information. We will jointly decide whether to stop for lunch/where to stop for lunch. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you Saturday!

Please join us for the final summer outdoors event Saturday, August 8, 9am at the Unity of Ann Arbor parking area where we will travel to Hidden Lake Gardens. There’s something for everyone there: indoor gardens, outdoor paths, and even a tree top walk. Cost is $10/8 for seniors. Carpooling is optional.

RSVP by Sunday 08/02 if you’re planning to attend. Minimum of two people needed to make the event happen. PM me or respond in comments. I hope to see you there!
