World Osteoporosis Day is Today

Today, we’re raising awareness about osteoporosis and the importance of protecting your bone health!

Osteoporosis causes bones to become weak and fragile, increasing the risk of fractures. The good news? There are steps you can take to support strong, healthy bones, including staying active, getting enough calcium and vitamin D, and talking with your healthcare provider about your bone health and risk factors.

Your bones support you every day — make sure you’re taking care of them! 💙

Today is a reminder that mental health matters just as much as physical health.

At Anniston Orthopaedics, we know that taking care of yourself means caring for the whole person. Whether you’re dealing with an injury, chronic pain, or simply going through a difficult season, it’s okay to ask for help and take care of your mental well-being, too.

Let’s continue to check in on one another, listen without judgment, and remind those around us that they’re never alone.

Your mental health matters. Today and every day.
