Yesterday, our Youth Team had the pleasure of hosting the Apex Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Program for their first meeting of the year!

This incredible program partners with Apex High Schools (Apex, Apex Friendship, Middle Creek, and TMSA) to connect students with local business leaders, town officials, and entrepreneurship while helping them build practical leadership skills and learn the importance of community engagement.

They kicked off the year with a fun, team-building session at Kraft, and we were thrilled to be part of the excitement! We loved welcoming the next generation of leaders for a morning of fun, connection, and teamwork. Here’s to a great year ahead!

A Little Change of Plans, but Still Lots of Fall Fun!

We have a little update to share! Due to low trunk registration, we've made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Trunk or Treat. But don't worry, we're not letting the fall fun stop there!

Instead, we're switching things up and hosting a Pumpkin Party!

Saturday, October 31
1-3 p.m.
Kraft Family YMCA

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of pumpkin carving, painting, and fall fun!

You bring the pumpkins, we'll bring the fun! We'll have all the supplies you need to carve or paint your very own pumpkin.

And don't put those costumes away just yet! We still want to see all those fun, creative, and spooky costumes, so feel free to dress up!

We'll also have some yummy fall snacks and drinks for everyone to enjoy!

While our plans may have changed, we're still so excited to spend the afternoon celebrating the season with our Y families!

Grab your pumpkins, throw on your costumes, and come make some fall memories with us!

Register for our Middle School Meetup at the Kraft Family Y on Oct. 16. This event is FREE for members and only $10 for guests ages 11 - 14. Both teen members and guests must register online by Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. in order to attend. Activities will include slime and bracelet making, basketball, volleyball, gaga pit and field games, video games and an open wellness floor.
