Going deeper...
When survey respondents told us they were interested in neuro-inclusive and community-based housing options, we wanted to learn more about what that could look like in practice.
When asked about specific housing unit types, apartments and condos were the most popular choice, followed closely by single-room occupancy units and single-family homes.
The responses also show interest in a variety of housing options, including pocket neighborhoods, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), and tiny homes.
One thing is clear: there is no one-size-fits-all housing solution.
People want choices that reflect their individual needs, preferences, goals, and support requirements.
As we continue analyzing the data, we're learning more about the housing options individuals and families would like to see available throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
