Mosaic Family Health participated in the Downtown Appleton Soup Walk with a homemade vegetarian cheese tortellini soup, made by Executive Assistant Jen Volz and her family 🥣 the recipe was also provided for participants to take with them!

Dr. Brittany Goodrich-Braun, Medical Director, was there to answer any questions people had about the clinic, and members of her family was there to help serve soup.

Leif Elsmo, President, and Jackie Gonzalez, Clinic and Community Care Coordinator, both showed up to serve soup throughout the day.

Fall is here—and respiratory illness season is never far behind. According to our medical director, Dr. Goodrich-Braun, a few everyday habits can help protect you and the people around you:
• Stay up to date on immunizations recommended for you.
• Wash your hands regularly.
• Improve airflow when gathering indoors when possible.
• Stay home and away from others when you’re sick.
• Talk with your healthcare provider if you have questions about your personal risk.

Small steps add up! Save this post as a seasonal reminder for your household.

What exactly is a resident physician? A resident physician has graduated from medical school and is completing advanced, hands-on training in family medicine. At Mosaic, residents care for patients while learning alongside experienced faculty physicians and specialists. That teaching model brings fresh knowledge into the clinic. It also helps prepare the next generation of full-scope family physicians right here in the Fox Cities.

Partnering with Appleton Area Schools and the City of Appleton is part of our community and healthcare mission! We were able to bring a Back To School Vaccination Clinic to Wilson Middle School, and Kaleidoscope Academy.
