A TIME WAS HAD!!! And the ALIGNMENT? UNMISTAKABLE. 🎀
This weekend, The Eudaimonia Center team had the absolute pleasure of partnering with the Tigerlily Foundation for their Pajama Glam Party, a beautiful experience raising breast cancer awareness through the eyes of children and teens whose lives are impacted by a loved one’s diagnosis.
Because breast cancer doesn't just affect one body. It touches entire families, changes childhoods, and calls for communities that know how to show up with compassion, education, and care.
From our very first conversation with Christin Lecker and Dr. Roddia Paul, we knew there was something special here. The word was ALIGNMENT... and that alignment only grew stronger!
🎀 Sharing the stage with Tigerlily Foundation CEO Maimah Karmo and sharing the heart behind our practice.
🎀 Being introduced by the phenomenal Cassandra Freeman | Aunt Viv (Cassandra Freeman) and having a powerful conversation about ancestral medicine, Black and Brown bodies, and the intersection of entertainment and health.
🎀 Bringing our team’s expertise, culture, and commitment to the Wellness Hub, showing our community what bonafide integrative women's health can look like when we move beyond a one-size-fits-all approach.
At The Eudaimonia Center, we believe women deserve more than fragmented care. They deserve to be seen, heard, valued, and cared for as whole people. Our work is grounded in healing, vitality, and a Womanist Ethic of Care that honors the lived experiences, cultural wisdom, and multidimensional realities that shape women's health.
Saturday gave us the opportunity to do what we love: educate, connect, serve, and demonstrate that there is room for a different kind of women's healthcare. One that makes space for evidence-informed medicine, ancestral wisdom, whole-person wellness, and the individual woman behind the symptoms.
And to be able to do this while being feted for our work? THAT was icing on the cake!
To the entire Tigerlily Foundation family: thank you for the invitation, the collaboration, the vision, and the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful. Christin, Dr. Paul, Maimah, Cassandra... we appreciate you! 🩵❤️🎀
