Get to know Texas Health! Meet Katherine Scott, B.S.N., R.N., RNC-OB, C-EFM, a labor and delivery registered nurse at Texas Health Hurst-Euless-Bedford. Katherine is in our employee spotlight and talks about why she became a certified nurse.

When asked why did you decide to get certified, Katherine said, "I wanted to become certified to grow in my specialty. I felt that there was so much more for me to learn about OB nursing than what I learned in nursing school. I owe it to my patients to be the best-prepared nurse I can be to care for them and their babies."

We love supporting our nurses who achieve a national nursing certification and grow in their careers at Texas Health with bonus payments and exam fee reimbursements.
