In our latest episode, Dana and I explore what it means to befriend our fear rather than fight against it. We talk about the role our ego plays in keeping us safe, how past experiences shape our reactions, and why approaching these parts of ourselves with curiosity and compassion can be so powerful.

I also share some of my personal experiences with therapy and parts work, and how I’ve come to recognize that even the parts of myself that sometimes create challenges are ultimately trying to help.

Maybe healing isn’t about getting rid of the parts of ourselves we don’t like. Maybe it’s about learning to understand and love them, too. ❤️

A little reminder that what we give our attention to matters. 💛

This doesn’t mean ignoring the hard things or pretending everything is positive. It means intentionally noticing the good that exists alongside them - the small moments, the gratitude, the beauty, the things that are going right.

The more we practice looking for those moments, the easier they can become to see.
