Spiritual courage is facing the truth, regardless of how painful that truth may be to behold.
Spiritual wisdom is standing for truth, and applying love no matter the cost.
Only light can overcome darkness, for darkness is solely a lack of light.
Only Love can overcome evil, for evil is solely a lack of Love.
No problem cannot be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.

We feel it’s our responsibility to keep everyone safe and as a business in the community we will do our part. That is why starting tomorrow until April 1st, GLOW will be closing it’s doors. This will be extremely difficult on our families and employees but we believe in the greater good.
We will work to set up an e-commerce site for people to buy products and gift cards from our website to support.
This was not an easy decision to come to but morally we believed it was the right choice and that minimizing exposure is what’s best for everyone.

“Community supports immunity” is what I heard this morning on the radio as I left yoga. It’s also what I FELT after a joyful and light class led by at 6:00am.
🌟 These are the small sacred spaces that I believe are safe to find community, support, and strength in mind, body, and spirit. I happened to smile and giggle (smiggle) a few times, what better form of boosting my immune system?
I’m thankful today for safe spaces with friends and happy faces.

Good morning!! Ok- schools are off for a while and this coronavirus is at the top of our minds. I saw this graphic and thought I’d share. I edited it slightly to remove the steak 😬. I wouldn’t recommend that for wellness necessarily.
I’ve always been all about prevention and keeping our immune system at peak levels is so important, especially during these next few weeks.
Eat your greens! Add garlic 🧛🏻♂️🧄! Add manuka honey in your tea. Drink loads of water.
Now, I’m off to do some yoga (after I wash my hands). 🌟I apologize in advance for the garlic that will be permeating from me. 👅
Here are a couple things that have helped me and feel WELL in the midst of a busy day today.
1. Getting outdoors for 20-30 minutes for some exercise. Running and walking is the easiest to squeeze in to a busy day. Wing outside is KEY. I use an app called for my runs. It’s like having a coach run with you and challenge you along the way. My pace is always faster while using this app.
2. Blending a post workout Smoothie before my meeting keeps the momentum going:
▫️1/2 cup of blueberries
▫️1/2 cup fresh pre-cut mango
▫️1/2 cup of kale
▫️1/2 cup spinach
▫️1/2 cup almond milk
3. Be social (and productive): Lunch meeting with my partner Kristen ( )and Fallon, the cutest toddler I know these days.
4. Keeping essential oils close by in my car:
The Restful Blend, “Serenity” and Calming Blend, “Adaptive” to combat any crazy commuters 😄

Meditation has changed my life in many ways. This is the biggest! Love it if you agree. Outside of that - I think all kids should be taught that their thought realm creates reality.
They should be given the tools to access the psychological and spiritual aspects of themselves in a much deeper way. We don’t teach these things! Imagine a world where everyone took 💯 ownership of the results in life. 👁😊👌
This is what I’m reminded to do in yoga class. It seems so simple. Why would I have to be reminded to breathe? Because, the quality of my breath suffers when I’m in my head about the stressors in my life. The therapeutic affect of this simple act of breathing mindfully and deeply is forgotten. Focus on the simplicity of a deep and mindful breath. It’s your body’s way of calling your parasympathetic nervous system (test&digest) to kick in.

On rainy days it takes more effort sometimes, but choose to shine.
Today I made it to yoga class at 6:00 am with Erin Long and that was a great way to start! Then I got drenched in the downpour as I scuttled to my car. I walked my sweet and happy dog and then I got to see my girls and .
🌂 I’m proud to say I gave Kristen a bunch of belly laughs 😂 as I wrestled with my broken umbrella. I wish THAT was on the GLOWlive at 9:00. I’m willing to do slapstick comedy and bloopers if it brings belly laughs to the ones I love!!
Getting outside always seems to help in times of unexpected anxiety. This was my first line of defense- to get some fresh air and walk. It helped a little... what seemed to do the trick today, however was seeing a regular massage client of mine which reminds me that I was meant to be in connection with other people. Being connected, talking, and quieting the monkey mind is what worked to snap me back into my higher self.
