Sweet potato fries make rainy days better β˜€οΈπŸŒˆ

For crispier tastier fries, soak in cold water for 30 to 60 minutes then dry completely before tossing in olive oil. Sprinkle with Himalayan pink salt then cook in an air fryer.

These are super healthy because they are high in fiber, vitamins A and C, plus they are a lower glycemic carb so they will help regulate blood sugar levels.

Salmon burgers are a delicious and healthy alternative to hamburgers and these are surprisingly easy to make either in a skillet or your air fryer. Salmon has numerous health benefits and I try to eat it at least once a week, sometimes more. It is high in omega -3 fatty acids so it helps with brain function, lowers your risk of heart disease, and improves your mood. It can also help lower your blood sugar levels so it's a diabetic friendly food. Salmon has also been know to improve your eye health and positively affect your joint condition.

The perfect healthy alternative to Pecan Pie they are so easy to make and incredibly yummy πŸ˜‹

Just add 12 pitted dates, 1 cup raw almonds, and 1 cup raw pecans together and pulse in a food processor until it forms a thick paste. Form them into balls then roll in shredded coconut.

One reason people resist change is because they focus on what they have to give up instead of what they have to gain.

This was me 5 years ago and if you asked me back then what I was scared to give up I would have told you everything. But my reason for change far outweighed this because I learned I had type 2 diabetes. My "why" was to be able to feel good about myself and not have to hide in big bulky clothes anymore. I just wanted to be happy and healthy.

This is me today and I am much healthier and happier! No diets, just eating clean, exercising, and changing my mindset made all the difference.

I have spent the past few years studying and learning the secrets to shedding excess weight for good and learning to eat the right kinds of foods to feel and look your best.
