Athletic training is anything but one-dimensional. Our job is multifaceted, and sometimes that means knowing when to ask for help, lean on others, and accept the support that’s offered. We can’t do it all alone—and honestly, we shouldn’t have to.

From coaches and administrators to EMS, equipment staff, teachers, volunteers, parents, and everyone in between, so many people contribute to making our jobs a little easier and our athletes a little safer.

We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re grateful for every person who helps us do what we do.

Athletic training truly is a team effort.

Athletic training is about so much more than Friday night football. 🩺🏈

It’s the early mornings, the long practices, the rehab sessions, the treatment tables, the injury prevention, the tough conversations, the victories that happen quietly, and the athletes who walk through our doors when they need someone in their corner.

It’s being there before the lights come on and long after they go off. It’s building trust, watching athletes grow, and caring about the person—not just the athlete.

Friday nights may be what everyone sees, but athletic training happens every day. And that’s what makes this profession so special.

Game day doesn’t care what day of the week it is. Friday, Monday, or any day in between—it takes a toll. 🏈

The long hours. The adrenaline. The constant movement. The injuries. The problem-solving. The emotions. The late nights and early mornings that come with caring for our athletes.

By the time the lights go out, the field is empty, and the last athlete walks away, we’re exhausted too. But somehow, we’ll do it all again.

Because game day may take a lot out of us, but the opportunity to serve our athletes makes it worth every minute.

Friday or Monday… game day is game day. And we wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🩹🏈
