We are excited to be in Ardmore on Friday morning for the Limestone County Council on Aging Fall Festival. This is a free event for seniors across Limestone County, not just the Ardmore area. The weather looks like it will be perfect. Y'all come out and see us!

Please help us celebrate John Messersmith, one of our staff pharmacists at Athens Pharmacy!

John has been practicing pharmacy for an incredible 48 years and has been part of the Athens Pharmacy family for 20 months. Born and raised in Cullman, Alabama, John is passionate about using his knowledge and experience to help patients understand their medications and achieve the best possible outcomes. He loves being able to provide answers, reassurance, and peace of mind to the people he serves. ❤️

Family is at the heart of everything John does! He and his wife have been married for 47 years and have two adult children and two grandchildren. One of his greatest joys is hugging his two-year-old granddaughter and hearing her say, “I love you, PaPaw!” 🥰

When he isn't at the pharmacy, John enjoys DIY projects and takes pride in being able to fix or build just about anything he sets his mind to! 🔨

He says he is blessed with good health and the ability to continue practicing the profession hes loved for so many years, he loves being here at Athens Pharmacy and we sure love having him!!

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: HANNAH E. 🌟

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Hannah E.! ❤️ Hannah has been part of the Athens Pharmacy family for 2 years, but she has been a Certified Pharmacy Technician for an impressive 9 years!

One of Hannah’s favorite things about working at Athens Pharmacy is getting to help others and spending time with her wonderful coworkers. She loves knowing that even the smallest interaction can make a difference in someone’s day—and making a difference in someone’s life is what truly makes her happy. 🥰

Hannah was born and raised in Tennessee and has lived in several places over the years while her husband serves in the military. For the past 2 years, Athens has been home, and we’re so happy she found her way to us! ❤️

Fun facts about Hannah: She’s left-handed, has 3 dogs and 1 cat, and when she’s not at the pharmacy, you can usually find her fishing, hunting, working out, or spending time with her husband. 🎣🏹🐶🐱 She also has a photography business and loves capturing special moments through her camera! 📸

Hannah wants our customers to know that she’s here to help! If you ever have questions about your copay or want to see if a manufacturer copay card can be added to your medication to help with your cost, come see Hannah. She would love to help you find out what options may be available! ❤️
