You’ve seen the professor.
You’ve seen us walking around the campus.
You’ve seen the bloopers. 😂
You’ve heard us talk about a conversation that opened a door.

And for almost two weeks, we’ve been telling you: There’s more to the Mercer story.
Well, I t’s finally time.

The Institute for Future Registered Nurses is proud to announce that the first stop of our Fall
2026 Care Package Giveaway will bring us to Mercer University in Atlanta to pour into
nursing students connected with the Georgia Baptist Association of Nursing Students. ❤

THIS is what we’ve been building toward.

Those Black Bags?
They’re going somewhere.

Those products taking over our condo?
They’re going somewhere.

Those Target trips?
They’re connected.

Those conversations with businesses?
They’re connected.
The emails.
The asks.
The packing stations.
The late nights.
The planning.
It’s ALL connected.

And now you know where the first road leads.
MERCER. But here’s what makes this moment bigger for us: We’re not coming simply to hand somebody a bag and take a photograph.
We’re coming to tell future nurses:

WE SEE YOU.

We see the studying.
We see the clinicals.
We see the sacrifices.
We see the financial pressure.

We see what it takes to become the healthcare professionals our communities are going to
depend on.

And we believe you deserve people cheering for you BEFORE graduation day.

So Mercer, we’re coming. 🩺❤

And to every business, hospital, corporation, healthcare organization and individual watching:
there’s still room in these bags. There’s still time to become part of this story. And there are still future nurses we can support together.

WHAT’S THE WORST THEY CAN SAY? 👀

Because apparently we’re at the stage of building IFRN where we see a major corporation and
think:

“I wonder if they’ll help us take care of some nursing students?”

And instead of just wondering…
we walked inside.

Here’s what people don’t always see about building something like this:
Before the donation.
The partnerships.
Before the sponsorship announcements.

Somebody has to be willing to ASK.
And asking can be uncomfortable.
What if they say no?
What if they don’t respond?
What if you don’t know the right person?
What if they look at you like,
“Ma’am…this is Target.” 😂

But here’s the bigger question:
What if they say YES?

So our Founder found the person responsible for donations and told them exactly what we’re
doing. We’re preparing care packages for nursing students. We’re building a larger movement around supporting future registered nurses.
And we’re asking businesses across Georgia to help us do it.

Then came the moment…
THE ASK.👀

Now here’s where we’re going to be a little irritating. We’re NOT telling you what happened next.

Not today. 😂

Because whether Target said yes or no is another part of this story. But here’s what we can tell you:
We asked. And we’re going to keep asking.
Target.
Costco.
Healthcare companies.
Hospitals.
Small businesses.
Large corporations.
Community organizations.

Anybody who believes that investing in tomorrow’s nurses matters.

Because you can’t receive a YES you were too afraid to ask for.

So, Target, 🎯 what happened next?
You’ll find out.

And if you’re a business owner or individual thinking, “I don’t need to wait for them to ask ME”
