Sharing an old post here. With our multidisciplinary clinics still being held via telemedicne some may not know that this is hanging at our clinic.

Did you know... This Lou Gehrig picture that hangs in the lobby of Emory ALS Clinic hung in the executive offices at Yankee Stadium until the replacement of the stadium in 2009. It was donated to us by a patient, Rich Rewkowski, who was also a baseball memorabilia collector. It is a treasured gift for our team.

NurOwn Fails to Slow Disease Progression in ALS Patients, Top-line...

The results of the Brainstorm trial of NurOwn have been released. Unfortunately, the trial failed to show efficacy in slowing the course of ALS. Though we are disappointed, there are several other potential ALS therapies on the horizon. We continue to search for the answers to ALS and for treatments that improve life and prolong survival.

BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics’ cell-based therapy NurOwn failed to significantly slow disease progression in people with rapidly progressing amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), top-line data from a Phase 3 trial show. The therapy, however, did result in clinically meaningful responses in a...
