Imagine building an impressive career only to be told your best chance of getting hired is to pretend half of it never happened. Well, you don’t have to imagine - this IS the situation we found ourselves in as GenX workers in corporate.. or more correctly, kicked out of corporate.

Hey GenX ~ two weeks of severance or eight months. Neither comes with a guarantee you'll land on your feet before the money runs out.

And a healthy severance package can create a dangerous illusion that you've got plenty of time to figure s**t out.

The corporate paycheck you're collecting TODAY is the best runway you've got to start building something of your own.
