10/2 "Reduce Your Risk" Breast Cancer Screening Event at the Augusta Mall (Dillard’s Parking Lot) 9:00 am-3::00 pm Partnering with Dillard’s, the Piedmont Mobile Mammogram Bus and the DPH Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program.
10/3 Pinkapalooza” Celebration Augusta Mall-Outside at the Fountain-Barnes and Noble Entrance (The fountain will be colored Pink!!)
A Beautiful Sea of Pink and Love, this is a True Celebration of Survivors and their Caregivers/Friends/Family/Co-Workers/Community and Remembering those that were Healed in Heaven ❤
• 10:00 am Breast Cancer Awareness Walk inside the Mall-Barnes and Noble Entrance
• 10:00-3:00 pm Blood Connection “Pinkapalooza” Blood Drive in Honor of those Battling Cancer (Fact: 25% of the blood products collected at Blood Connection blood drives are used to assist cancer patients) This is Huge-we want to fill that bus with appointments!!! Donors will receive a $30 gift card of their choice.
• 10:30 am Survivor Breakfast courtesy of Toaste’ Augusta
• 11:00 am the Celebration begins lasts until 2:00 pm: Music/Entertainers/Vendors/Food Trucks/Children’s Zone/Fashion Show/Give-Aways/Testimonies/Gift Bags worth $750.00 from our United Breast Cancer Foundation Partner for our Survivors (first 150 to register) /Line Dancing
• 11:00 am-2:00 pm Prayer Tent-Several local Pastors in the CSRA offering Prayer

Community Health & Wellness Day is coming to Augusta Mall!

Saturday, August 22
11 AM – 2 PM
Augusta Mall – near the Sears entrance

Join the East Central Health District and our community partners for an afternoon of health resources, education, screenings, program information, and family-friendly outreach.

Our Mobile Health Clinic will also be on site, parked outside near the Sears entrance.

Come meet local organizations, learn about available services, and connect with resources for you and your family.

With an abundance of caution we are canceling the Glascock County Health and Wellness Fair scheduled for Friday 5/22 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. due to the projected inclement weather. The predictions are for an 85% chance of rain and thunderstorms, since the Event is outside at the Town Square we need to cancel.

***The Piedmont Mobile Mammogram Bus will still be arriving for their scheduled patients.***
