People pleasers are chronically, fearful of conflict. People pleasers often continue their people pleasing behaviors because they feel rewarded in society- they can come off as peacekeepers and mediators. But beneath the surface, they can be extremely fearful of conflict and end up sacrificing their self-agency and true ability to fight for the truth.
