For Trent Odom, the journey with PANDAS/PANS brought years of uncertainty, challenges, and a long road to recovery. Today, he’s a biochemistry pre-med student at LSU with a mission to help other children and families find answers sooner.

In our latest blog, Trent shares his story, the family who never stopped advocating for him, his return to school and football, and his dream of becoming a pediatric neurologist specializing in PANDAS/PANS.

His message is one of hope, perseverance, and the importance of looking beyond behavior to understand what a child may be going through.

Seeing families connect, hearing their stories, sharing knowledge and resources, and witnessing the dedication of this incredible community reminds us exactly why this mission matters.

🚗 Parking, entrances, elevators — we’ve mapped it out for you.

PANS & PANDAS Awareness Day is almost here, and we want your arrival to be as easy as possible.

Our guide shows you where to park, which Capitol entrances to use, where to go after security, and how to find the Legislative Conference Center (LCC), E2.002.

The North Entrance is the closest entrance to the LCC, and the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage is located just east of San Jacinto Blvd.
