Save the Date – Join us on April 29, 2027 for Farm to Plate! 🗓️🌱Each year, we come together to celebrate progress toward a Texas where everyone has fair access to fresh, local food.

All proceeds from this seven-course dinner featuring expert w**e pairings plus cocktail hour support SFC’s ongoing work to nourish Texas health land, and livelihood by expanding access to fresh food while boosting farmer sales. 💚Tickets and chef lineup TBA.

Why attend or sponsor Farm to Plate? From ingredients, to chefs, to farmers, Texas has it all. But not everyone has fair access to the fresh, nutritious produce the land provides, and the small farmers who steward Texas land face challenges to earning a livelihood.

SFC programs like our statewide produce incentive program Double Up Food Bucks Texas, nutrition education, advocacy and coalition building at the state and local level, and Austin-based farmers’ markets are cultivating a better food future. Indigenous culture shapes our world today and every day, down to the word for the State Tree of Texas, the pecan! 🌳 These days, Texas is one of the top three pecan-producing states in the nation, and pecans are coming into season NOW. Next time you enjoy a Texas-grown pecan, remember pecans are a taste of Texas that go back nearly 9,000 years.
