October is Social Isolation Awareness Month, making it an important time to recognize the signs of social isolation and encourage meaningful connection. 💙

At Tech Ridge Oaks, we help residents build daily connections through:

JoEllen’s Miracle Moment: A Passport to Our Love Story 💌

For JoEllen, a beloved Cottage resident, and her husband Nick, more than 60 years together have created a lifetime of memories.

For their Miracle Moment, we created a special “Passport to Our Love Story” filled with favorite memories from throughout their years together.

They spent time reminiscing, laughing, and reflecting on the life they’ve built side by side. ✨

Their celebration continued with a candlelit lunch featuring JoEllen’s favorite food: pizza, freshly made in-house by Juan!

World Alzheimer’s Day is a time to recognize individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and the families, caregivers, and teams who support them along the way.

National Assisted Living Week gives our community plenty of reasons to celebrate, from themed activities and shared traditions to unexpected moments of laughter and connection.

Most of all, it was a chance to recognize the residents who make each day memorable and the team members and volunteers who help create an environment where everyone can stay engaged, supported, and connected. ✨

✨ Happy National Assisted Living Week! ✨

With this year’s theme, “Shining Through the Years,” Tech Ridge Oaks Assisted Living brought leadership, residents, staff, and healthcare partners together for a celebration honoring the people who help us shine. 💛

We enjoyed pizza from New Century Hospice, snow cones from Bristol Hospice, shining star treat bags from St. David’s, desserts from Kindful Health, and snacks from Gracy Woods II Living Center , Enable Dental, and Heart to Heart Hospice.

We’re grateful to our partners for helping us make our staff feel so appreciated! ⭐
