Allied Home Care was proud to sponsor the Promise Garden at Visalia’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, alongside people living with dementia, family caregivers, and everyone walking for someone they love.

Thank you to the Alzheimer’s Association, the volunteers, our Allied team, and everyone who stopped by our photo booth. From the flowers raised during the ceremony to the smiles captured here, there was so much worth remembering.

We’re hiring a Mandarin-speaking caregiver in Bakersfield!

A current Allied Home Care client has specifically requested a caregiver who speaks Mandarin. While we already have Mandarin-speaking caregivers on our team, they’re booked during the hours this client needs. We’re looking for an additional caregiver to accommodate this client’s requested schedule and language needs.

If you speak Mandarin, are dependable, and enjoy helping others, we’d love to hear from you!

No caregiving experience? We’re willing to train! However experience is a plus.

This past Friday was a great day supporting veterans of all ages, their families, seniors, and the Ridgecrest community!

Allied Home Care joined 75 vendors and community organizations at the Ridgecrest Veterans Stand Down, connecting with veterans and their families while sharing resources, information, and support.

We also had plenty of fun along the way! Our prize wheel stayed busy throughout the event, and our Executive Director, Jesse, was more than happy to hand out raffle prizes, gift cards, and even a 43” Smart TV. One of the best parts of the day was seeing veterans of different generations, family members, and fellow vendors smiling and enjoying the event together.

Beyond the prizes and giveaways, events like this are about being present in the communities we serve, building connections, and making sure veterans and their families know about the resources available to them. For veterans who are seniors or need additional assistance at home, we were also glad to share information about the home care support Allied can provide.

A special thank-you to Carol and Nick Coy of the Ridgecrest Veterans Advisory Council for all the work they put into bringing this event together and supporting veterans and their families throughout the Ridgecrest community.

And thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, spun the wheel, entered the raffle, or simply spent some time with our team. We look forward to continuing to support veterans, seniors, families, and the Ridgecrest community!
