Last day at Academy ’26. Don’t leave Anaheim without stopping by Booth 800.

It’s been a great few days connecting with the optometry community, talking clinical workflows, and showing what Soniquence technology can bring to ophthalmic care.

If you haven’t visited us yet, today is your last chance to stop by Booth 800.

Come meet the Soniquence team, see the technology up close, and ask us how RF may fit into your practice and procedures.

Not every practice needs the same RF platform.

The SmoothWave i100 is designed for practices looking for core RF functionality in a compact, easy-to-use system, while the SmoothWave i200 offers broader flexibility with both monopolar and bipolar capability in one platform.

The right fit comes down to how you work — the procedures you perform, the functionality you need, and the level of versatility your workflow requires.

Not sure which SmoothWave platform is right for your practice? Talk to the Soniquence team and we’ll help you find the right fit.

Control can mean different things during a soft-tissue procedure.

It’s where the electrode is placed. How energy is delivered. How tissue responds. And how comfortably a clinician can move through each step of the procedure.

For dermatology, where clinicians may be working around small or closely positioned tissue, that control becomes especially important.

Swipe through for a quick look at what we mean when we talk about tissue control.

A trusted legacy doesn’t have to stay in the past.

For decades, Ellman helped shape the way clinicians worked with radiofrequency surgical technology.

Soniquence carries that foundation forward with modern RF systems, instrumentation, education, and support designed for today’s clinical needs.

The technology evolves.
The commitment to precision continues.

Built on the trusted legacy of Ellman. Continuing with Soniquence.

This is what hands-on looks like.

Soniquence is at Exotics365 in Philadelphia, where veterinary professionals are putting education into practice through hands-on learning and real clinical workflows.

And we’re not done yet.

Exotics365 continues through September 2. If you’re attending, connect with the Soniquence team and see RF technology in action.

Precision isn’t only about making the cut.

In soft-tissue procedures, control also means thinking about tissue interaction, hemostasis, and the workflow around the procedure.

Soniquence RF technology is designed to support clinicians with precision and control across multiple specialties.

You’ve probably heard us talk about thermal spread, but what does that actually mean?

It comes down to what happens to RF energy beyond the exact point where the electrode meets tissue.

Swipe through for a quick breakdown of lateral thermal effect and why clinicians pay attention to it.

Here’s the simple version: heat doesn’t necessarily stay right at the tip.

As RF energy interacts with tissue, some heat can extend beyond the immediate treatment area. That surrounding heat is what we refer to as the lateral thermal effect.

And that’s where control becomes important.

So why does lateral thermal effect matter?

When you’re working around delicate or closely positioned tissue, where the energy goes matters just as much as where you place the electrode.

Supporting controlled tissue interaction can help clinicians work more precisely while limiting unnecessary thermal effect on surrounding tissue.

And this is where Soniquence comes in.

Our RF technology is designed to support controlled tissue interaction while helping limit unnecessary lateral thermal spread—so clinicians can stay focused on precision where it matters.

Precision and bleeding control working together.

In this dental surgery footage, Dr. Michael Pikos uses the Soniquence SmoothWave i200 with the 3-Button Fingerswitch Wand to support targeted coagulation within the surgical field.

The SmoothWave i200 combines monopolar and bipolar RF capabilities, while Soniquence’s interchangeable electrode system gives clinicians access to specialized tips for different cutting and coagulation needs.
