We enjoyed bringing together ophthalmologists, physician leaders and members of our EyeCare Partners team for a recruitment happy hour during the AAO 2026 Annual Meeting in New Orleans.

Mary Beth Yackey, O.D., has spent more than two decades at Cincinnati Eye Institute, where her career evolved from refractive surgery to retina care. 200,000 pairs of glasses — and counting.

We’re proud to celebrate an incredible milestone from our team at CVP Physicians Dayton. Through a longstanding partnership with the local Lions Club, CVP Physicians has helped collect 200,000 pairs of donated glasses to support vision resources for people in need.

The practice reached its first 100,000-pair milestone in 2021. Just five years later, the team has helped collect another 100,000 pairs.

A Lions Club representative recently presented the CVP Physicians team with a certificate recognizing the milestone and shared his gratitude for their continued support over the years.

It’s a meaningful example of the impact our teams make beyond the exam room through strong community partnerships and a shared commitment to helping others.

Congratulations to the CVP Physicians team, and thank you to everyone who has helped make this effort possible.

During National Surgical Technologists Week, we’re proud to recognize the surgical technologists across the EyeCare Partners network who help us elevate eye care every day.

Their preparation, precision and attention to detail are essential to safe, efficient surgical care. From supporting our surgeons and care teams to helping each procedure run smoothly, their work contributes to the quality and consistency of care our patients receive.

Across the EyeCare Partners network, surgical teams performed more than 170,000 surgeries in 2025, with more than 95% of cataract patients achieving 20/40 or better visual acuity.

Those outcomes reflect the work of entire care teams, with surgical technologists playing a critical role at every step.
