When did someone last ask how YOU are?
You check on everyone else. You make sure appointments are kept, meals are prepared, and the people you love have what they need.
But who's checking on you?
Sometimes, the person receiving care has their own worries. They may say "I'm fine" even when they're feeling lonely, overwhelmed, or just having a difficult day.
At Esther's Home Care, we believe caring for someone means more than helping with daily routines. It means paying attention, listening, noticing when something seems different, and taking the time to ask how someone is really doing.
That type of connection matters, whether you're the one giving care or receiving it.
Here's a small thought for your Saturday:
Ask someone how they're really doing today. Then take a moment to listen.
And if someone asks you, remember that you don't always have to say, "I'm fine."
