Our providers will be out of the office next week, but Emily will still be available for injection visits and medication refills, if needed.

A little behind-the-scenes of primary care at Ascend Health…

This is what “putting out labs for the day” looks like around here! 😂 Not always glamorous, but definitely an important part of taking good care of our patients.

Did you know we can draw and manage a wide variety of labs right here through Ascend? From routine blood work and wellness labs to testing that helps us investigate things like fatigue, hormone concerns, thyroid issues, vitamin deficiencies, inflammation, metabolic health and more.

One of my favorite parts of primary care is being able to look at the whole picture — not just treat a number on a lab report or a single symptom.

And yes… sometimes being your PA means carrying around a bunch of baggies of blood tubes. 🧪

Dolly Parton was so much more than a country music legend. She was a storyteller, a trailblazer, a philanthropist, and a woman whose faith in God was woven into the way she lived, loved, and served others.

Her music will live on, but so will the kindness, generosity, humility, and joy she brought to countless lives.

Tennessee will never be quite the same without her. 🍋🦋
