Rinse right, breathe easy. 💧

Sinus rinses can seriously improve congestion, but using the wrong water can put your health at risk. Tap water may contain bacteria and other microorganisms that are generally safe to drink but can be dangerous if they enter your sinuses.

In rare cases, contaminated water used for sinus rinsing has been linked to serious, potentially deadly infections. 🦠 Always use distilled, sterile, or boiled-and-cooled water for your sinus rinse. Never use straight tap water.

It’s a simple step that can make your sinus routine both effective and safe.

Food allergies aren't just a stomach issue — they can affect your airway fast. 🫁⚠️

If you've never been allergy tested but suspect a sensitivity, it's worth knowing your triggers before you're caught off guard. If you have a diagnosed allergy, always carry your EpiPen, and get in the habit of double-checking ingredient labels — allergens hide in sauces, seasonings, and processed foods more often than you'd think.

Know the warning signs of a throat/airway reaction — swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing, voice changes — and don't hesitate to act fast if they show up.
