Beautiful!

Beautiful!

Today, October 11th, we honor Our Lady of La Leche, the Blessed Virgin Mary nursing the Infant Christ, in one of the most tender images of the Incarnation. The hands that formed the stars became small enough to rest against His mother’s skin. The One who gives life to all creation received His first nourishment from her breast. The Bread of Life was once a hungry child, held close to Mary’s heart.

In the quiet intimacy of Mary’s motherhood, we glimpse the extraordinary holiness of a love poured out in service to another. Mary carried the Savior beneath her heart, welcomed Him into the world, and nourished Him with the tenderness of her own body. The eternal Word knew the warmth of her embrace, the rhythm of her heartbeat, and the quiet devotion of a mother whose love would follow Him from Bethlehem to Calvary.

For centuries, mothers have sought Our Lady of La Leche’s intercession, bringing her their hopes for children, their fears of childbirth, and the tender burdens of raising a family. Her devotion traveled from Spain to St. Augustine, Florida, where generations of pilgrims have entrusted their prayers to the Mother who understands both the joy of holding a child and the sorrow of loss.

On October 11th, we honor Our Lady of La Leche, especially invoked by expectant mothers, nursing mothers, and those longing for children. May her maternal intercession comfort every waiting heart, protect mothers and their little ones, and bring peace to families carrying grief. Our Lady of La Leche, wrap us in the tenderness of your Immaculate Heart and lead us always to your Son.

My cup feels so full today. 💙

I spent part of my afternoon at a small business meet-up hosted by Mindful Mercantile, surrounded by a room full of incredibly talented, creative, and inspiring women.

Women who have dreams and passions they want to share with the world, but who are also living real lives. Juggling full-time jobs, children, families, responsibilities, unexpected life situations, and everything else that comes with being human.

And today, I felt so seen and heard.

Sometimes being a small business can feel lonely. You wonder if you’re doing enough, growing enough, creating enough. You have a million ideas and only so many hours in a day.

Sitting in that room reminded me that I’m not the only one who feels this way. And there was something so comforting about that.

I left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and grateful for the community of women who are willing to share their experiences and cheer each other on.

And as I was walking back to my car, I happened to look over and see two signs in a little shop window.

“Pour Yourself a Cup of Ambition.”

And right beside it, “Blessed.”

I smiled because how fitting was that?

I have so much ambition for Many Moons. So many dreams, ideas, and things I want to bring to life. But I’m also learning that I don’t have to accomplish them all today.

The little things add up. Every connection, every conversation, every person who walks through my door, every small idea I bring to life. They’re all part of something bigger.

Many Moons is growing, and I don’t have to race through the process. I can be ambitious and still be content with where I am.

And I can recognize how blessed I already am while continuing to dream about what’s ahead.

Now I’m sitting on my porch, enjoying a little quiet before heading out for a date night and a very rare kid-free evening.

No rushing to accomplish one more thing. No worrying about what I didn’t get done today.

Just enjoying the life I’m working so hard to create.

A full cup, a grateful heart, and a gentle reminder that there’s room for both ambition and rest. 🌙💙

🍂 Sometimes self-care is simply romanticizing the season you’re in.

A homemade pie on the counter.
A slow roasted chicken filled with herbs.
A big mason jar of blueberry tea.
Intentional eating—choosing foods that feel nourishing, comforting, and connected to the season. 🤎

There’s something about fall that naturally invites us to slow down. To cook a little more intentionally, sip something warm, nourish our bodies, and find comfort in the little things.

Self-care doesn’t always have to be a massage, a big ritual, or something we have to make time for. Sometimes it’s intentional eating. Sometimes it’s making your home cozy. Sometimes it’s simply noticing the season changing and letting yourself enjoy it.

All of this just feels like fall to me. 🍎🍵🌿🌙

Can we all admire the cool blue this tea made?!

Here’s your reminder to romanticize your October—the ordinary moments count, too. 🤎

Happy October! 🍂🌙🤎

Waking up on the first day of a new month feeling just an immense amount of gratitude this morning.

Sometimes I look around at my life and realize just how much there is to be thankful for.

The ability to live in a nice community. To send my children to schools where they are safe, loved, and building their own little community around them. To simply pay my bills, provide for my family, and create a life that feels good and secure.

And so much of that is possible because of every single person who believes in Many Moons.

Every person who books a session, stops in, purchases a gift, shares my name, supports an event, or simply tells someone about this little space I’ve created — thank you.

I also know that choosing to take care of yourself isn’t always easy. Sometimes a massage, Reiki session, or moment for yourself might feel like a stretch in the budget. The fact that you still choose to invest in your well-being and trust me to be part of that means more than I could ever fully put into words.

Thank you for valuing my work. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for allowing me to do something I genuinely love while also providing for my children.

I get to balance being a mother and a provider while doing something I’m passionate about and building a community around healing, connection, and care. What a gift that is.

I’m surrounded by some truly amazing people, both inside and outside of Many Moons, and as we step into a new month and a new season, I’m just sitting in the gratitude of it all.

I really, really love this life. 🌙🤎

Happy October, friends. Thank you for being part of it. 🍂✨
