Special thanks to Rev. Erin Morey of Holy Innocents Church in Beach Haven for reaching out to the Beach Haven First Aid Squad during this nor'easter; as an oft-forgotten branch of First Responders during such events, we sincerely appreciate her thoughtfulness in offering food and sustenance for our dedicated members. Our crews worked 24/7 during this harrowing storm and responded to 9 emergency medical calls in our specially equipped 4-wheel drive emergency response vehicle. These selfless members resided at our Beach Haven headquarters throughout this event and responded immediately to all calls for service. We are lucky to have such loyal, hard working members to answer such calls; recognition of their efforts by the community is a vital incentive for their continued service. Thank you, Rev. Morey

Today we have two crews staffing the medical station at the Chowder Cook Off.
We would like to thank the Long Beach Township Police Department, Long Beach Township Department of Public Works, and Long Beach Island Health Department for use of their new Command and Health Services trailer during Merchant's Mart and Chowder Cook Off.

Today we staffed the medical station for the Merchant's Mart.
During the course of the event at one point we received 3 medical calls within 10 minutes. None were at the event itself but in our coverage area. We were able to cover all 3 with the event crew responding to one of the three calls.
We would like to thank the Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Company for their assistance during their Block Party on one of the calls. Unfortunately their assistance was not needed but there in case it was needed. Also thanks to the Long Beach Township Police Department, Beach Haven Police Department, and Hackensack Meridian Paramedics for their assistance today.
Thank you to our members who responded too.

Please avoid the area of 7th St. in Beach Haven due to a structure fire. Traffic is being detoured. Prayers all our responders stay safe!
